What the seal means
Every seal links to a live report for the exact site it appears on. The letter grade reflects the share of automated WCAG 2.1 AA checks that site passed, weighted by issue severity. Because Scanplyance re-scans on a schedule, the grade stays current — and if monitoring lapses, the seal automatically switches to a “not verified” state so it can never imply more than is true.
The grades
Tier color tracks the grade: gold (A), silver (B), bronze (C), and a “needs work” mark below 70.
How to trust it
Click the seal. It opens the underlying report showing the score, issue counts by severity, pages scanned, and the date of the last scan. The grade is generated by the same engine (axe-core on real, rendered pages) for every site — no self-grading.
What it is not
The seal is not a legal certification or a guarantee of compliance. Automated testing catches many WCAG issues but not all of them, and accessibility is a broader program than any single scan. Scanplyance is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
